David Henry, an orthopedic doctor made a huge mistake when he gave his new born daughter with down syndrome to Caroline away from his family. He was supposed to spare his family the same grief when his sister died with the same condition. He might have the good intentions, however, their lives turned out to be miserable that he regret doing such thing until the day he dies.
Many are yet aware of such condition. Special children are one of those who are left behind and deprived of rights to live. The story tells us about how special children mostly are treated in some communities. Some of them experienced the worse thing man can ever have. It really moves me when the adoptive mother fought for child's right to experience the same privileges with others and the opportunities she deserve.
